Scarlet Hope Resource Center
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9
Over the past few months, we have been searching for a property where Scarlet Hope could call home. Â We felt that God was calling us to find a place centrally located to the women and clubs we serve so that we may provide a safe place for these women to come to for resources.
Scarlet Hope wants to not just serve these women on Thursday nights or Friday nights in the clubs, we want to serve them every day. Â By providing an opportunity for them to come to a place that is for them, relationships with our team and the Lord will be more effective and continue to strengthen and grow.
As of recently we have a unique opportunity at a small house in Louisville, where God is making that possible.
Above is that place. Â It doesn’t look like much, but it is centrally located, and is just big enough for what we need as a ministry to get this going!
It needs many repairs and updating, but God will provide the means for that to happen.
What you can do as a supporter.
PRAY!!!!
Tomorrow – August 31st 2010 – At 9:00a.m. we will talking with the owner …. in hopes to do a lease to buy until we raise the funds to fully purchase this.
We also need your prayers for the Lord to provide the funds & resources to get this resource center up and functioning.
If you would like to get involved in this part of our ministry we would love for you to help us.
- We will be looking for donated materials, items to make this place a resource center for our women.
What will this Resource Center Home Offer these women.
Bible Studies – Mentoring and Counseling – Job Skill Training – GED Testing – Celebrate Recovery Groups – Connections to further resources – Career Coaching – Computer Classes – Parenting Classes – and so much more!
We are excited for what God has in store!
